Serious cautions are not hidden
Traditional red flags such as a failing Bhakoot, Nadi, or Rajju reduce the final score and are called out explicitly, rather than being averaged away into a comfortable number.
Questions families ask
Is my birth data sent anywhere?
The matching itself runs entirely in your browser — there is no AI Pandit Ji server to send it to. Your entries are saved locally only so the form is still filled in next time. Two things do leave your device when you ask for them: a birth place name goes to a geocoding service to resolve coordinates and time zone, and an uploaded kundli file goes to an OCR service to be read. Both are covered in the privacy policy.
Do I need to know my exact birth time?
A more accurate time gives a more accurate lagna and nakshatra, so it is worth checking a birth certificate or horoscope if you have one. You can still get a moon-sign based reading with an approximate time, and the report tells you which parts of the result depend on precision.
What if I already have a kundli PDF from a pandit?
Upload it. Auto-fill reads the chart values out of the file so you don't retype them. Printed charts read best; handwritten ones usually need a quick manual check afterwards. If uploads fail or get rate-limited, add your own free OCR.Space key in Settings.
Which score counts as a good match?
In the 36-point Ashtakoota system, 18 and above is conventionally treated as acceptable and the high twenties as strong — but a single failing factor like Nadi or Bhakoot matters more than the total. That's why the report separates the number from the cautions instead of reducing everything to one verdict.
Why do results change when I switch states?
Because the traditions genuinely differ. A pandit in Chennai and one in Patna weigh different factors, so the same two charts can read differently. Compare mode exists so you can see where a match is strong in both styles and where the tradition is doing the work.
Can I use it offline?
Yes. Open the app and install it from your browser menu or the Install App button. Matching then works without a connection — only place lookup and file auto-fill need the internet.
